Speed
Fast 7x7 solvers use a Yau-style structure with a lot of lookahead. Inspection is only 15 seconds, so practise picking an order for the first edges and centres quickly.
Consistency
At this size, accuracy matters as much as speed. A single mis-paired edge can cost minutes, so check each stage before moving on.
