A retired event that remains great fun: solve the cube with your feet. A first solve with your feet.
Move sequences on this page were checked in a cube simulator (cubing.js): they are legal and, where the text says so, do what it claims. Strategy advice is guidance, not machine-checked.
Setting up
Feet was an official WCA event and has since been retired. Put the cube on the floor or a low table, bare feet or thin socks, and sit so your legs can move freely.
Hold and turn
One foot holds the cube still, usually between the toes or against the floor. The other foot turns the faces. Expect many mistakes at first, and learn which turns are easy.
Pick the simplest method
Use the beginner layer-by-layer method. It uses few distinct turns, which is exactly what you need when every move is hard.
